The combination of professional factilty and staff, great social environment, and great campus/outdoor environment cound not be beat. For a relatively large school my professors were aware of me and my performance from my freshman year on. The faculty was strong and is pulled from people who want to enjoy the opportunity to live in Montana (so the faculty exceed the reputation of the school). Over my time at UofM I went from a marginal student to an excellent student. I went from a shy kid to a very social person, and I found the people I met accepting and encouraging well in excess of the other colleges and business situations I have encountered.Go to Montana for a great well rounded experience. I attended the university of Montana and received a degree in Business Finance. The business department is one of the newest buildings (other that the law building) at the university. In my experience they have a very good business school. It is one of the majors that isnt filled with hippies. I wouldnt recommend the university of Montana if you dont like hippies. I would look into Montana state university (Bozeman, MT). I am very conservative and that is my only complaint. The footaball team is always great and the stands always full. The nightlife is very fun in my opinion. People in Montana love to drink. If you love the outdoors (hunting, golfing, rafting, fishing, skiing, and hiking) University of Montana is good for you. Montana has everything that a student expects when they go to college. A great football team, ultimate frizbee, and hippies. Montana has fun teachers for the most part.
