CCC is a veryBrightMechanical Engineering
CCC is a very nice small school. Most of the faculty care about their students and the tutoring center is a great resource if you want A's!

Question
The Craven Community math department is staffed by
The Craven Community math department is staffed by several seasoned instructors. I?ve had the pleasure to attend three different levels of math; math 121, 122 and 171 with three different instructors and all three were excellent. All three were always willing to provide extra instruction time whenever I asked; and each knew how to explain the subject at the student's level. I can also say the same thing about Craven's English department and their Chemistry instructor. The current electrical instructor possesses over 30 years of experience in the trade and I found his classes very practical and well taught. Unfortunately the electronics department is not at the same caliber as those I previously mentioned. The former electronics instructor who retired in 2013 possessed an in-depth knowledge of electronics; he also possessed a BS degree in electronics. The current electronics instructor is currently working on a college degree in an unrelated field and unfortunately does not possess sufficient teaching skills either. The tutorial lab equipment had been neglected for several years and much of the software was several versions behind however, the new instructor is at least working to obtain funding to bring everything up to current standards. Bottom line; if interested in electronics then choose another school.

Question
The expected workloads in most classes are pathetic,BrightEnglish
The expected workloads in most classes are pathetic, if your intention is to actually learn anything you didn't already cover in High School I would not recommend. The price was reasonable though, my Pell grant completely covered tuition and book costs. I chose to attend a community college to get my general education requirements out of the way before attending a proper university and save myself some money, the classes at CCC transfer almost seamlessly into the university I chose, so that's another plus.
