You know some people say that there is nothing to do and they get in trouble b/c they are caught with a beer or two. Well my response to that is that you should have know that before you came. This is a Christian school. You know there is no drinking allowed on campus and there is not that much in the immediate area. However both Raleigh and Fayetteville are both less than thirty minutes away.

Perhaps, if you decided to get more involved in campus activities you would not complain so much. There is usually a athletic event on campus every night, with the exception of Sunday. Student Activities is awesome always having something for the students.

The professors are great as well. I was a trust major and me and my advisor became so close that we would go out to play golf together. Outside of class, I developed friendships that will last a life time.

Campbell is NOT for everyone. But then again, neither is NC State or UNC or Duke. Maybe all these people with negative comments should have done their research before committing to a college.

Sure the school may not be hard to get into, but if I am not wrong CU is a first generation school and it has produced both leaders in the field of Law, Pharmacy, Education, Business and even a few senators, Sec of State, just to name a few. Don't trust what these other comments say. If so many people hated this school then how come when the school decides to build a new gym that will cost $30 MILLION dollars, over $20 MILLION is given in less than a year! People both love and appreciate this school. Come to Campbell and visit the campus before you make a decision.

....... what can you say about a 'hole in the wall, that never was like Campbell University. this school will take a fine, faithfull, upright, well - to - do, young Christian man or woman and efficiently mold them into one of the three catagories - 'a not so functional alcoholic / flunky', 'a functional alcoholic, with a head the size of our planet (because of their unwaivering pride for having acheived such a graceful state of being)', 'or an academically sucessfull introvert, who will never really get to experience college', this accounts for 99% of the students at this fine university - ALSO, I can't speak for the other programs, but for those of you considering the Trust and Investment program, DO NOT commit to this if you feel that once you arrive at Campbell, you might be tempted to try and emulate what you think a real collge experience should be like, what am I talking about? here's an example - you decide to drink in your dorm room or at a party and you get caught - you will then get to go before a board of all the schools deans, who will get a good look at your face, commit it to memory, and send you out the door with some 'points' merited against your alloted 20. (when you hit 20 you get to go home for being a bad little high scho.... I mean college student) If this doesn't seem like bad enough punishment, here's the real hurt - when those teachers, who commited your face to memory, go to convert your ohhh so subjective test results into a letter grade, they will consistently award you (I think I can probably statistically prove this) one letter grade lower than you deserve, that's right, you will give an almost exact replication of your buddies answer to a test question and you'll get 3/5 points while he somehow pulls 6/5 (you know, for having the whitest teeth in the classroom). anyways, if this seems a little dramatic, it's not.... try me and waste a bunch of mom and dads money on this school. BTW, I figured all of this out quickly and therefore am not a student at Campbell anymo' - later

I am a freshman from Charlotte North Carolina, I got a 1310 on the SAT and had average GPA. PLEASE listen to me, I saw all the negitive reports on Campbell and decided to give it a try just because they gave me a scholarship. BIG MISTAKE. To say this year has been the worst of my life is not an exageration. If you come from any remote civilization please dont come here...YA ppl count and the ppl here suck! Aside from the ugly campus and the bad food that you are required to buy, PPL here remind me of the home schoolers in my youth group in charlotte, add a little redneck, never been out of my one traffic light town and dont care to, iggnorance and you have the typical campbell student. If you are looking for a college experience dont come here, No one is involved and everyone leaves on the weekend. If you get caught having a drink, even off campus you can get in trouble. The first night of my college experience was at Wal-mart. Going to Campbell is like going to a Community college with a private school bill. PLEASE DONT GO HERE!!!
