So, you’re thinking about going to Elon, huh?Super BrilliantMath
So, you’re thinking about going to Elon, huh? Well, well well, isn’t this your luck day?! Let me ask you a couple of questions: are you of an Anglo-Saxon background? Are you wealthy? Do you drive a luxury vehicle and where all name brand apparel? If you answered yes to two or more of the aforementioned questions that you may have just found your match! Elon is synonymous wuth a preppy, private high school. People here are quite wealthy and aren’t afraid to show it. Students here are more concerned with when the next Coach bag is coming out or what they will be doing on Wednesday night the they are with studying and academics. People here aren’t very bright, and if they are - - they have probably transferred out already. The student body is very shallow, greek oriented, and unaware of the world outside of the “elon bubble”. If you are not Greek, you better make plans to do things away from campus on the weekends. Also, there is no creativity or individualism either; people are very conforming. Do not expect to see gothic dressers or skaters or anything of that nature. THEY ARE ALL PREPS! No body is poor on this campus. Diversity is a word that the admissions office is ,obviously, not aware of. This place holds the vibes of 1963 Birmingham, AL- segregation is bliss, my friends! But hey, if that is the sort of upbringing that you are accustomed to - -be my guest and matriculate next year-

I am an athlete; so I can say that I have viewed Elon from a non-normal perspective.
It is a shame that I have only been here for a semester and I am ALREADY transferring. I can only hope that my new school will, perhaps, give me more of a collegiate experience. (seeing that I have GRADUATED high school!) I must leave or else mental death is inevitable. I was accepted to Duke, Columbia and some other colleges, but lacked the funds to attend. DO NOT follow my lead. It is tooo costly! If you are a critical thinker and have even an ounce of self-identity, spare yourself the mental torture and agony and matriculate at a REAL liberal arts school. Do not let the tours, brochures, or aesthetics of Elon University fool you!

Then again some say that coming to Elon was the best decision of their life – I say “LEAVING Elon has changed my life forever!!!!” (for the better) I am leaving for good - - and Never (I say NEVER) looking back!!!
