Electronics Engineering Tech Dept is a poor excuse for higher education. Dept chair is very unhelpful, and unknowledgeable. There are however a number of instructors that can be very helpful if the student truly desires to learn. Not all the blame can be put on the staff/faculty; the students that attend are typically of lower than average intelligence, and seem to care more about when class ends than the material in the courses.

The electronic technology department head is now teaching. She has not reviewed the book nor has any lectures. She expects the students to read the book and take the book's tests for your grade. When asked a question, she either tells you to look it up in Google or she has to look it up herself, mostly never getting back to you. The lab has some new equipment but it is not used. There are some rather expensive test equipment never used because the school never got all the parts for them. Also, the instructor did not know how to use them. I suggest looking else where for your education if you want to learn anything meaningful. I here only to get the piece of paper. I've been in the field for many years but for job hunting I need the diploma. I've watched younger students struggling to understand electronics and receiving no help from the current staff.

The faculty there is very rude. When you get to the higher up more educated people in the school they are very helpful. However, when dealing with the daily administration and receptionists - they are continually rude, no matter whom you reach. Whenever you start to sincerely and politely inquire about anything whether its financial aid or getting general help, they are quick to get an attitude. They do a good job at blocking your attempts to make it to the more knowledgeable staff.
