Otherwise, the students are too arrogant and isolated with their group in club or sport or whatever was their group.. racist & arrogant... they make me feel sick.. I only have been here for 4 months and sometimes I regret the day I enter this school but when I see how my profs treat me I go back to the track.. well, I don't know about other universities because I'm an international student and this is my 1st year here in a university, but the social life and the student are suck.. there are friendly people tho, but the majority of the student go through you with out even smile at ur face or greet u, like if u are not standing there.. In my country all the student treat u as a family they really care about u and try to help u without u asking for help.. even if u are new to them they makes u feel like u knew them since ever =") I really wanna go back home (TT_TT)PS, IF U ARE NOT AMERICAN AND YOU ARE A SOCIAL PERSON DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL, BUT IF U DON'T MIND BEING PUDHED AWAY.. I am both a psych and nursing major though the nurisng department is highly unorganized and does not seem to really care about their students, but instead about their accredidation and the fact that you are a number to them. Granted not the whole faculty in the nursing department are like this, there are alot of faculty that just dont seem to be tremendously helpful at a time when you truely need them. Oh yea and the fact that they now have a no fail policy so if you dont pass your class you have to appeal to try to get back in to the program to finish and if you dont pass a second course there is pretty much no hope of you getting back in and so then there is thousands of dollars wasted and no degree!!! Truely the Dean of the nursing department is not compassionate or sympathetic towards anything and only cares about policies and hardly anything about the students which are in his program....I would highly recommend trying to find somewhere else to pursue a nursing degree, because thsi program is just simply unorganized and not very supportive in their students!!!
