Think twice about goingNot so brightPolitical Science
Think twice about going to Queens. Very disappointing. Not intellectually stimulating. Other students are dumb as rocks and just want to "go to college" to please their parents. Most are out partying. No one studies except before a test. Very easy to get drugs here.

Question
I love Queens! It is a great schoolQuite BrightPolitical Science
I love Queens! It is a great school for any student who actually wants to learn and be engaged. Kids have fun and there are parties at a few places off campus every weekend but it is definitely not the "big" party school. The professors are very helpful and friendly, they will do almost anything to help you. I've gotten very good academic advice and guidance from my adviser. Getting involved in clubs and organizations is easy, almost everyone is involved somehow. There are many different clubs for whatever students are interested in such as SGA, Campus Union Board,International Club, etc. Class size is also really good, it is a place where your presence matters and you don't feel like one in a million. You are able to focus and have that intimate classroom environment. Our campus is beautiful. We are a small school but we are located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Charlotte, which is Myers Park. A new building and gym are coming to campus soon, the new health building will be an environmentally friendly! Overall, this school offers great academic opportunities while being involved in many other things.

Question
Queens has gone very downhill since my freshmanAverageCommunications
Queens has gone very downhill since my freshman year. The wi-fi is terrible, and there are no places to study. Because the wi-fi is never working students have to do all their homework in one night (the night the wi-fi is working). This wouldn't be such an issue if older students were allowed to move off campus. I have had classes cancelled because of the teachers being unable to pull up their class notes due to the poor wi-fi. The students have been known to steal, a friend of mine had his laptop stolen right out of his dorm room. The campus is pretty and the new gym is really nice. However I wonder how the administration was able to afford a new gym but can't afford to get their students working wi-fi.
