If you want to go to a huge school with a large Greek life, this isn't the school for you. But if you want to be part of a community and make a difference at your school, UNCA is great. We have some of the best faculty in the country who are always willing to help inside and outside of class. Academics are superb and for a great value. The city of Asheville is in the middle of the Appalachian Moutnains and has a lot to offer. The city is very diverse and the citizens are open to anything. There is no 'typical student' here, however. Everyone is just kind of strange. If that puts you off, stay away, otherwise come have a great experience in these beautiful mountains.
