I've had a really good experience with theBrightNursing
I've had a really good experience with the nursing program here so far. Prof's seem to really care, and they have time to help. There are a few bad apples, but if you check ratemyprofessors.com, you can avoid them. There are some wonderful, brand-new buildings on campus. Not difficult to get into a suite for housing, and all housing is air conditioned. I'd recommend for anyone interested in nursing.

Question
Overall, I like the school though I knowQuite BrightSocial Work
Overall, I like the school though I know that it has its limitations and the degree from this school isn't worth much. I experienced problems only with humanities electives and requisites, namely anything offered/required by the English department. My grades in high school were excellent and I achieved very high scores in verbal abilities. The required freshman composition courses are taught by really insecure graduate students who are more interested in their social lives than in teaching English. My 1101 teacher could not spell to save his life. Literature? Don't ask. Avoid any AA studies classes and anything that smells of British Literature. Sociology and sociology-related curriculum courses are very good and the teachers are excellent.

Question
I spent only a year at UNCC butQuite Bright
I spent only a year at UNCC but it was enough. There is NO campus life. Library hours are limited. Study halls aren't 24 hour. Dorm security could be better. Campus security could have been a LOT better. I went to UNCC with unrealistic expectations. I thought that it would be like UNC. I was wrong. I feel very sorry for students who can't go anywhere else.

Some of my teachers, I think, felt trapped as well. Imagine teaching there and then trying to find work elsewhere. I really feel that I took a step backwards by going to UNCC for just one year.
