I transfered to UNCC from out of stateBrightSociology
I transfered to UNCC from out of state because I wanted to be closer to my family. Choosing this school was the biggest mistake of my life. Student life is great. The housing is probably the best I have seen in North Carolina. The school itself is gorgeous. But classes and professors leave you speechless. The advisors don't take time to answer your questions. They treat you like a pest when you are paying their salary. Some professors act as if their class is meant for their own personal hour. If I could have been tested on personal events in their lives I would have a 4.0! The cost to park on campus is $210. You are not allowed to slip the bill in half and pay seperately. My advice is to choose a school where your money will go to better use. UNCC seems to just take, take, take and give nothing in return. If I had to choose again this school would not be an option!

In the three yearsQuite BrightPolitical Science
In the three years I've been at UNCC, things have gone downhill fast in the way of academics. Tuition keeps increasing, teachers and classes keep decreasing. I really feel like my money is going to waste. In my opinion, this school would be best for commuters and non-traditional students.

Question
Cool place to go to school.BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Cool place to go to school. Nice people but the school itself is not quite up to par. Give it 20 years and it might be a class act but right now I think I had a better attitude towards business before Belk College. There are no advisers to help you. I had to make a lot of mistakes at this school because the business center is so cold to students! My advice is not to join a fraternity but find a close knit group of people who have been through all the shi* and let them brainstorm your problems. In specific frat students know all the loops and at Charlotte there's enought to start a circus. Actually, it is a circus. I have to say however that when I finally leave and get a call from alumi house asking for cash I'm gonna say no until I see some real improvments in belk advising center. UNCC will do very little to help you out! Resort to the experts, the ones who have been there for 4 years.
