The number one thing that I hate aboutQuite BrightBiology
The number one thing that I hate about UNCC is the financial aid office. They are incredibly hard to deal with... and this past semester I didn't get my student loan for over 5 weeks because the financial aid office was "running behind." I can't believe how rude and inconsiderate everyone working at the financial aid office actually is. 5 weeks of waiting for a loan, while I'm paying interest on it somehow... and when I absolutely need that money to pay for rent etc. It just infuriates me that the office is so horrible.

Also, the school is expanding too quickly. Classes are jammed full, and it's impossible to get in "good" classes that you actually need to fulfill your major because they'll only offer 1 or 2 sections for 1 semester out of the year. Professors can't give students the individual attention that they should get, some try... many fail. Students go home on the weekends, it's a huge trend. I've also noticed that the greater majority of them are people who have grown up around Charlotte, depending on their parents. That should tell you what kind of people you can find at UNCC... the greater majority of the students fall into the same little cliques that they form in high school. It sounds immature to say that, but you will not believe how true that actually is.

Question
There is no way you can get aSuper BrilliantAthletics/Training
There is no way you can get a good education at this school, it is just impossible. The student population is way too high, there has to be some kind of competition for admission. It really is just a four year community college, it shouldnt be looked at as a university at all. 2nd only to Chappel Hill? First of all if you are talking about 2nd in NC to the real UNC then you are tripping on acid! Not only is UNC ranked 30 in the nation, other schools in NC like Duke and Wake Forest are even better then UNC! Duke is considered a better school than most ivy league schools. Get your facts strait, UNCC can say we are the fastest growing school in the state but that proves nothing at all. Who has even heard of this school outside of NC, not many people. If you want to blow over 20k a year than this school is a fit, otherwise seek elsewhere!

Great department.Super BrilliantArchitecture
Great department. Well worth the work that it takes to get into, and the work once you are in.The university in general is in the process of growing. Several buildings are being constructed around campus, and some will soon be replaced.
