This school is a joke. Not so bright
This school is a joke. The majority of students are rich white snobs, who dress up to class every day, and are so self-absorbed they will walk over anyone on the ground. Professors, contrary to Wake's motto, are NOT approachable, and make you feel like you are a major inconvenience. If you are not upper-class, then you will feel very out of place. I will never ever recommend anyone go to this school. The university spends too much money on flowers and other useless garbage around the campus that makes it seem very materialistic. As for pro-humanitate, the motto should really be pro-self since students only participate in the few community events because it will "look good on a med or grad school application" If you really want a real college experience, I strongly suggest you stay away from this awful school- you shouldn't want to live in a bubble in the one of the most segregated cities in the country.

This is a Greek-dominated institution overrun with socialiteSuper BrilliantPhilosophy
This is a Greek-dominated institution overrun with socialites including spoiled rich girls and jock-mentality men. The professors and academics are excellent, but many of the students at least appear moronic and are grade obsessed to the point of missing the depth behind lectures. They'd rather memorize information than learn, often cramming the night before major exams and drinking heavily the weekend before.

There appears to be an obsession with alcohol and binge drinking on campus which is not limited to the low achievers. Intelligent students often jokingly recount being arrested or throwing up the night before and go from valedictorians in high school to being perfectly content with 3.0 GPA's.

Don't attend this university. The school is too small, allowing Greek students and cliques to dominate everything to the appoint of annoyance and constant frustration. The big fish in a little pond mentally runs rampant. If you're the brilliant type, go to Carnegie Mellon, Georgetown, or Notre Dame. Wake Forest is a black hole for deep thinkers and nonconformists.

Wake forest is a school living in dream.BrightBiology
Wake forest is a school living in dream. having graduated from there, it is a fine example of its eutopia within its walls. It fails to realize the real world as most of its students do during their time. How dare they raise the tuition to its levels, then deflate your gpa. what a joke. I would love to make a deal with you wake forest, give me back my money and i ll give you back your degree. This school needs to wake up.
