While the education degree and others may beAverageAnimal Studies
While the education degree and others may be better don't go here for ag related anything! Professors and students are VERY close minded. I never enjoyed my time there or my classes but one. Most professors care about the research they're doing then actually teaching. Good luck ever finding them available to help or explain anything better because they can't. A lot of them don't know how to teach and are just there to do research. You have some people that are friendly as far as students goes and others well a lot keep to themselves. I transferred here from another college because I could live at home with my parents but I wish I would've never gone here. I stuck it out to graduate but that was the dumbest things ever. They have hardly and hands on opportunities and I feel my education received was subpar

Terrible university for engineering.BrightMechanical Engineering
Terrible university for engineering. Teaching is mostly non existent. Prepare to teach yourself in 90 percent of the courses. Prepare to retake a few classes too. NDSU is out to get your money. Go somewhere else if you can.

NDSU has been a major disappointment to me.Bright
NDSU has been a major disappointment to me. Honestly, I cannot believe I made it this far. Unless you want to drink yourself into oblivion or spend your money eating out, there is virtually nothing to do outside of school. Many of my fellow students that I have talked to are severely depressed and have contemplated taking their own lives because of this place. I personally am struggling with depression because of my time here. The quality of education here is an absolute joke. I have studied hard, done alright academically (3.0 GPA) and still feel like I have learned nothing. The professors are arrogant, fail to teach the material effectively and treat you like you are nothing. I feel guilty for using my family's money at this university. If you are a high school student considering this university, I want you to do yourself a life changing favor and cross this place off the list. That is, unless you want an depressing, impersonal, mind numbingly boring college experience. There are so many other options out there and I would feel terrible if you ended up selecting this university. Remember, at NDSU you are a serial number, not a real person.
