Terrible university for engineering.BrightMechanical Engineering
Terrible university for engineering. Teaching is mostly non existent. Prepare to teach yourself in 90 percent of the courses. Prepare to retake a few classes too. NDSU is out to get your money. Go somewhere else if you can.

The university tries to get multicultural instructors or something, which is thoughtful. But most of the teachers I have met here barely know their own subject, and there are very few teachers I can call really good Instructors. My time here (5 years) was not that good. I recommend another architecture school.

As long as you NEVER drink, you might like this school. Not much to do is the #1 complaint heard from school mates. #2 is "got another minor" of my drinking friends, I only know 1 who does not have a minor... yet. DUI's are very popular here as well. Every fourty years.. the number of DUI's given out = the population of the entire city. Apartments near campus are difficult to get into, and houses are expensive, and well patrolled (no parties near campus)
