| Bright | I had a great experience at Creighton. I was involved in community service and social justice issues. I had many opportunities to try activities that I would not have had a large state institution. There was support available throught instructors, the jesuits and campus departments. I have had no problem getting a good job and my preparation was excellent for graduate school. | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: B+ | | | |

| Quite Bright | Creighton, so far has been great, and I have very few complaints about the school itself. | Education Quality: A, Surrounding City: B- | | | |

| Bright | Creighton can be a really good experience or a really bad experience, depending on what kind of person you are. If you want an environment similar to high school, a somewhat smaller campus and easy access to teachers, this isn't a bad place to go to school. At the same time, if you want a campus full of diversity, lots of activity and students that want to challenge things, I wouldn't come to Creighton. I've had a fine experience, not great, not terrible. The Midwest isn't my favorite place in the world, but the people are nice enough and Omaha is a decent place to call home for four years. At the same time, the only activity people really participate in is drinking, so whether it's a house party, a bar in the Old Market, or a Creighton basketball game, be prepared to see a lot of alcohol. Most of the teachers are friendly, though some have an arrogance about them, but I think that's college professors in general. I don't want to stay in Nebraska after graduation, so hopefully my degree will help me get a job elsewhere. Overall, I'd give the school a 6.5 out of 10. Some might love it, others won't. | Faculty Accessibility: A-, Social Life: D | | | |

I went to Creighton because I was a pre-med student. My dad went to Drake and had only nice perceptions of Creighton. I was from far away and had no idea of what the midwest was like. I was pleasantly surprised.
Yes, I did join a frat and it expanded my ability to socialize and even helped me win a student government office. I've made friends from all over the US (since many do come from all over). Most importantly, CU helped me realize my dream of becoming a doctor. I was not the best student and I didn't get in the first time. But with perserverance and hard work, I was able to squeek by their admissions criteria. Now I have a wonderful practice and my children also chose to go to Creighton when they could have gone anywhere else in this country (valedectorian and good SAT's). And they were raised in California. You make your college experience what it is. I made the most of mine and only have fond memories of CU. I donate generously to the school that helped me fulfill my dream and my experience there almost made me decide to stay in the midwest (which I'm glad I didn't now). Midwesterners are honest, hardworking people. Their values and ethics are much better than what you find on the coasts. I'm very happy my children chose CU... I just hope it helps them get to where they want to in life. | Individual Value: A, Education Quality: B+ | | | |
