 | Quite Bright | I transfered from Creighton after my freshman year. It's not a bad school, but it can get quite boring here. Most of the students are rich Catholic school kids from about a four state area (Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa). The academic programs are pretty good and the campus isn't too shabby. Probably Creighton's biggest flaw is being located in Omaha. Absolutely no college or "big city" environment to it at all. | Faculty Accessibility: B+, Surrounding City: D | | | |

| | Bright | Creighton can be a really good experience or a really bad experience, depending on what kind of person you are. If you want an environment similar to high school, a somewhat smaller campus and easy access to teachers, this isn't a bad place to go to school. At the same time, if you want a campus full of diversity, lots of activity and students that want to challenge things, I wouldn't come to Creighton. I've had a fine experience, not great, not terrible. The Midwest isn't my favorite place in the world, but the people are nice enough and Omaha is a decent place to call home for four years. At the same time, the only activity people really participate in is drinking, so whether it's a house party, a bar in the Old Market, or a Creighton basketball game, be prepared to see a lot of alcohol. Most of the teachers are friendly, though some have an arrogance about them, but I think that's college professors in general. I don't want to stay in Nebraska after graduation, so hopefully my degree will help me get a job elsewhere. Overall, I'd give the school a 6.5 out of 10. Some might love it, others won't. | Faculty Accessibility: A-, Social Life: D | | | |

| | Bright | Creighton really is a unique place. As with any small(er), religious based school there are pro's and con's. I believe that Creighton's biggest negative is being in Omaha. I am from Florida and hated Omaha for a couple of years, but then it really grows on you. A lot of people who go to Creighton are "legacies" and yes, there can be some majors jerks, snobs, brats, etc, - you're going to find that any where! I met some of the greatest people i know at Creighton, it depends on who you want to hang out with! Creighton changed my life. Beyond all of the negative reviews people have put on this site (we don't want them here anyways!) you're going to get out of Creighton exactly what you put in. If you want to take full advantage of teachers, clubs, service trips, student programs, etc. you can easily do so. If you like to skate by w/o doing much, you can do that too. The short and sweet of it is this: Creighton University is about taking care of the whole person. You will not only get an excellent education that is challenging and stimulating, but you will also be challenged to be a better person. If you appreciate being a name instead of a number, i would highly suggest checking out Creighton. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Useful Schoolwork: B- | | | |
