Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I don't know about these students who areNot so brightEnglish
I don't know about these students who are leaving negative reviews- everyone I have met loves UNK.
It's a beautiful campus surrounded by a caring town that really makes you feel at home. If you're bored and can't find something to do, then you're not looking. There are many clubs and events going on at all times on campus, it's hard to get free time!

The teachers are amazing and because of the size you really get a chance to know them and form connection there. I highly recommend UNK if you want a small and peaceful university experience.

I came to Kearney because I was apartBrightPsychology
I came to Kearney because I was apart of their volleyball team. They're sports programs and facilities are about up to D1 facilities, they are very nice and we get very spoiled with a lot of stuff they give us. Kearney on the other hand has NOTHING to do. Coming from a midsize town, I found it very hard to do nothing but party on the weekends. The school's "motto" is you can't spell drunk without UNK. and that is so true. If you don't party that much, this school isn't for you, because living in the middle of Nebraska, you can't go out and do much. Some teachers are great, but for your general ed classes, they give you the brand new teachers who have no idea what they are talking about. Their "portal" classes are a waste of time and actually dropped my grade point average because it was so much busywork. So, If you aren't from a small town or if you aren't from nebraska, DO NOT COME HERE.

I learnd so much at university of Nebraska, Kearney. It is very special place. Lots too do and people from many place who dress very nice and care about pet. Interior design program here is a very careerminded program with much scholastic success and careermind individuals who pursue fields with degree. I like our campus very much but sometimes it doesn't fell safe to leave at night, town is very medium size and not always so good if you understand right. Overall I am graduate with very high success and would like to help you.
