When I started graduate school, which I was lucky to get into considering WSC has a bad reputation that I didn't know about, I had to take "leveling" undergraduate courses. I spent two years at WSC and transferred to UNO. You will have nice professors, but be surrounded by "the locals" who can be so closed minded and arrogant about their view of the world (why the hell would they study sociology????) that it can make classes and study groups very unpleasant experiences-spending half your time explaining to them basic social science stuff that they really don't want to believe. The students from Omaha: could spot them a mile away: they smiled. Faculty Accessibility: A+, Social Life: F Have a Question?
