After looking at other schools - for graduate work I was surprised at how much more motivated and prepared Dartmouth students were. Classes at other schools were poorly organized and filled with busy-work. Dartmouth is challenging, but gives you the appropriate amount of work to be successful. Esp. in sciences you will find labs closely related to lecture...which is lacking at most universities. I would suggest no other school. Dartmouth is not only amazing for undergraduates, but continues to give guidance after graduation - much more so than some graduate programs do for their current students. Going to Dartmouth gives you an education that will help you accomplish any goal (even those you don't have while an undergrad)

Dartmouth is an ideal school--friendly, laid back and fun but serious about academics and the success of its students. If you can handle living in Hanover and the D-Plan, there's no reason not to apply.
