Franklin Pierce is an excellent small liberal-arts college. The faculty in the Humanities Division are extremely talented and forward-thinking. They want to see you succeed and are willing to help you and be behind your path 100%. The school may be growing too quickly lately, as they scramble to transition into the new "Franklin Pierce University" and build newer and "state of the art" facilities. Hopefully they will remember their roots as a very small liberal arts college and still offer the great and unique things that attracted many of its students there. Classes in such areas as stained glass and glassblowing, landscape history reading, contemporary Native American history, women's leadership, and many others that only a small, kind of "funky" college can pull off. The location leaves a bit to be desired in terms of anything being open past 9 PM, but the campus really lends itself to a very active and lively social atmosphere. The way the housing is setup, the location and different types of living options along with the fact that literally everything is within walking distance even when its below zero makes up for the general "middle of nowhere" location.

Small and friendly campus with beautiful views. we have are own lake for rowing and canoing or fishing. The dorms have a variety and some are nicer but freshman dorms are pretty much the same average but clean. The bathrooms are kept pretty clean. There is some good sports and a few good activities to join that are good. Food is ok ,the pub is better. The staff and professors are nice, helpful and approachable. I Love it here i made the right decision by tranferring from a southern school. There is alot of fun students and parties too.

FPC was a great experience for me. The Professors were excellent, and the technologies were top notch. Friends I have from Pierce will last lifetime and I am glad I made the decision to stay, after a rocky freshman year.
