Getting in to this school is a joke. Anyone can get in this school. Last night I was in the hall after class and there was some big riot in a psychology class! Students were yelling and crying. It was chaos. I had issues before and went to the dean, dude he didn't do ANYTHING. What is the point? No one cares. I talked to my advisor and she was trying to make things better but ultimately it is the way the school is run. It is depressing there. Classes that I need Never available and the stupid classes I have to take are with crazy people. The teachers look like war victims and have no control over the class. I seriously want my money back. Do yourself a favor and choose another school. I heard that it is owned by Kaplan now and that is why it is so bad. Every time I want to talk to someone I worked with before they are gone because they got fired or they just left. Don't go here.

The Portsmouth campus is run down, poorly maintained. We ladies recently had to wait 2 weeks for the bathroom to be stocked with soap, and they are too cheap to offer Purell. They often run out of toilet paper half way through the night, and complaining is useless. No one cares about any legitimate and tactful complaints. They do not do a good job cleaning. There is no cafetera of lunch room, only one very filthy microwave and some vending machines. There are no closets for your winter coats, and the rooms are jammed with no room for all the students, especially for the Early Child hood education students, who have to take a music and movement class. No one in administration can ever answer simple questions and the school often will drop your classes last minute, causing many students to DELAY GRADUATION. I would have rather gone to a different school...

I was a highschool dropout and after getting my GED I wanted to go onto college and I had a wonderful experience.
You get out what you put into something. I was very serious about college and the teachers there were wonderful and very knowledgable. The teachers were always willing to asist their students.
I was given a college scholarship and so I didn't have to take out any loans. That is the kind of college Hesser is.
Linwood Galuecia (President at the time) He really took pride in watching students grow and learn and would always do what he could to make that possible.Hesser is now owned by Kaplan so I do not know if I would attend again.
