Hesser College is an average private college located in Manchester, NH. Some teachers are good, some are bad, most are average. The PT department specifically is wonderfull. The catch is that the tutition with fees is currently OVER $22,000 a YEAR!!! This is an outrageous amount to charge! You can attend UNH in state for about $8,000 a year. There are also MA schools that will graduate you with the same degree (Physical Therapy Assistant) for $8,000.

Getting in to this school is a joke. Anyone can get in this school. Last night I was in the hall after class and there was some big riot in a psychology class! Students were yelling and crying. It was chaos. I had issues before and went to the dean, dude he didn't do ANYTHING. What is the point? No one cares. I talked to my advisor and she was trying to make things better but ultimately it is the way the school is run. It is depressing there. Classes that I need Never available and the stupid classes I have to take are with crazy people. The teachers look like war victims and have no control over the class. I seriously want my money back. Do yourself a favor and choose another school. I heard that it is owned by Kaplan now and that is why it is so bad. Every time I want to talk to someone I worked with before they are gone because they got fired or they just left. Don't go here.

It was a big mistake to enroll at Hesser College. It wasn't even a choice for me. They called me so i say I'd go and "check it out" so I drove 2 hours to get to the Salem campus only to find that they had already had the enrollment papers. I had to move 2 hours away from my home to attend classes in Salem. Later, I transferred to the Nashua campus only to find out Salem never sent them any of my paperwork like they said they would do. When I decided to move back home, I had asked about transferring to the Portsmouth campus. NASHUA STILL DID NOT HAVE MY PAPERWORK! They contacted Salem and Salem told them they I was still enrolled in Salems campus and i was failing all of my classes! No wonder Nashua never had me on their rosters! I am still paying on my student loans and have not attended school there in over 2 years. No campus can find any of my paperwork! Also, they are too expensive for the amount of education they offer. Half of the teachers there can't even speak decent english. Hesser puts you into classes with no prerequisites. So you don't even know what is being talked about most of the time because you never learned it. So I tell you, please save your money. Go attend another school. This is definitely not one I recommend AT ALL! All they want is your money. They don't care about the4 quality of your education.
