 | Average | UNH is a really fun school. It's what you'd expect out of a good-sized state school: a large, diverse student body, largely active in the plethora of clubs and athletics offered on campus. A lot of drinking and partying, always something to do. Great school to go to if you want the "classic" college experience. However, academically, it is sub-par. It's really easy to get in this school, and once you're in, you're kind of treated like a number. Some of the majors, such as Engineering and Computer Science, are worthwhile, while most of the others - such as the Business School, soft sciences, English Dept. etc, - are more or less a joke. | Social Life: A+, Individual Value: C+ | | | |

Here is the state of things at 'ol UNH Spring '13. I am a junior majoring in Engineering. I am in a fraternity. I drink a lot. -Greek Life does not run campus, 10% of males/10% of females are involved in greek life
-we drink. a lot. you can go here and not be drunk all the time, just know that everybody else will be -if you want to work you ass off in school and still rage on the weekends, you can. as long as you don't mind not sleeping. i don't sleep. i have a great time on the weekends and kick ass in school during the week -durham sucks. not much to do. thus the drinking.
-would i choose to be anywhere else? absolutely not. great campus, everyone is looking to have a good time, and you can still work hard in school at whatever major you want if you suck it up and don't blame the establishment like most reviews on this site. | Scholastic Success: A+, Innovation: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | | I have so much advice to give any young student. It is OKAY to be undeclared. Take your time, take electives. It gives you more time to find your career path. If you start in a rigorous degree program (like business - which is where I started) when you start to realize it isn't for you, you will feel like it is too late and settle. DON'T DO THAT. Other things with UNH.. I was in SCOPE and MUSO. I was interested in the music business. SCOPE was HORRIBLE. It was a popularity contest and didn't care if you were there to learn. Since UNH I have changed my area of interest to animal science and now work at a vet hospital. There are OTHER schools and I advise you to look into them. No one at UNH cares what you do/how you get there/what you do post-grad. Find a school that is more like a family and will guide you into a career that makes you happiest -- DO NOT SETTLE FOR SECOND BEST! | Preparedness: F, Reputation: F | | |
