Not so bright
The professors that were fired were not qualified to teach at this level. Perhaps you are afraid of change, though it was for the good. If I am not mistaken the endowment has gone up tremendously and the degrees the professors now have exceed expectations. You're right, you are not too bright, do your research before you give your opionion.

Bright
The school is an absolute scam. I anticipated a much more intellectually stimulating enviroment upon my arrival. I was extremely discouraged by the lack of talent and basic social skills the students possess. The school thrives on immaturity and socially inept students are not encouraged to mature for the real world. A very boarding school, if not SUMMER CAMP atmosphere is the predominant feeling of life on campus.

Average
I was very disappointed after coming here, I transfered after one semester. There is no challenge academically. Most of the professors have several other teaching jobs and do not have the time or inclination to give the one on one attention the school purports to have. The general student body is immature and there is no social life.

Not so bright
Now called Chester College of New Hampshire, under new management, the White Pines College that was the best time of my life is gone. This new version of the loved institution litteraly sucks the life from you and leaves you feeling defeated, there are so many things wrong with this place I can't begin to describe them now. Knowing that I'll soon be out of here is the only thing keeping me. Under the name White Pines College, and the old teachers (whom got fired and replaced almost fully after the new president moved in) I learned more than I had hoped I ever would {Thank you Mr.Swett, wherever you are now!} , but now the college is a horrible place to abide and a terrible place to learn.
