Question
I picked this school because it was closeBright
I picked this school because it was close and had a unique atmosphere that most schools do not. However there are many pro's and cons of this school.

Cons
Food is absolutely gross
Some facilities like the gym and the bathroom of dorm halls are awful and gross ( mostly bc the people who cause it to be that way)

There is little social life here at the college and the clubs are not all that convincing. So if you want to party this is not your school.

They give bs tours on the webpage a lot what they tell you is not 100% true and it makes me mad personally. Ex: I have not seen NY from here like they say on the tour. Even though it's an hour and 14min still can't seem to see NY from here And on the pics for the webpage they show some random people in pictures that don't come to this school, they used to do that more with the webpage yet I noticed not as much now.

Some head professors in certain fields are really discouraging torward what you may want to do.
And yes there is some higer up professors who think there poop don't stink here.
Also is hard to make friends here
A lot of racial issues on campus which is upsetting.
Safety concerns bc security is lacking
It can be very boring here
Pros
if you want commit your self to doing rlly well it is perfect because there is little distraction here

Most of the teacher are extremely nice and friendly and help you as much as they can.
The work is a lot of work but it is not too hard
They have a very good disabilities service here.
Campus is beautiful
The classes are mostly small
I think they have very good courses here so the classes personally I think are rlly good, in most of them you really learn The professors don't mess around. i don't know if we are more behind then other schools educationally but I think the education it's self here is good, that kind of what seems like the highlight here at this college.

Since it is a small school ppl do notice you
Most ppl I would say are rather nice here
The professors do notice you
One on one opportunities with professors
You are not a number in class
Easy to participate in class
Most professors here are really good most of the professors that I have don't persuade you with a certain perspective, they don't shove any topic at you, they allow you to speak for your self.

Very good academic success center.
The Athletes here are not that bad
Buildings are with in 100 yards away from each other.
Don't need to drive to any other parts of campus
This school is not bad. it needs to fix some stuff but the school is very unique in atmosphere.
If someone had trouble learning in large classes and doesn't want a school with like 200 kids in each class I recommend this college

Question
Some professors are friendly and helpful.Quite Bright
Some professors are friendly and helpful. They want you to succeed, even as they academically challenge you. Open door policy. Then you have the condescending professors who are rigid, long-winded and one-sided. Some only want you to parrot their thoughts & knowledge. College going co-ed, so courses & sports, clubs may expand more. Food mediocre - hit or miss on a good meal. Needs more options (try & get a glass of milk!) & should be open earlier & open later, especially on weekends. Staff won't let you in if a minute past closing. Security needs to tighten up. Road used as a 'cut-through' during the day, so lots of strangers on campus. Arguments and occasional fighting incidents with tougher girls - police have been called. Some girls intimidating & loud. Can't count on my floor RA to step up in dorm. (Sometimes she's part of the party!) Maybe there should be floor behavior contracts signed and tougher RA's put in place. The agreement should be enforced and not in name only. Dorms could use some sprucing. Bathrooms too. Cleaning staff friendly & try really hard to keep up. Nice to have a sink in the room. Beautiful campus & easy to maneuver. Small classes, which is nice. Hate to say it - I carry mace in my pocket at night. My Mom, who is an alumnae, disappointed in direction the college went and wants me to transfer out.
