 | Quite Bright | The students at Drew who are involved with a sport, including intramural, clubs, or other activites tend to be the students who like Drew the most. The students who have little or no involvement tend to be the students who complain and maybe transfer. In other words, if your involved, and make the most of what Drew has to offer you will love it here. The campus is beautiful, the location is great, although Madison is no hub of activity, but New York is nearby. The administration makes a solid effort to update facilities including building a new dorm and refurbishing old ones. The gym and art/music facilities are great. The students are primarily from the Northeast but you do meet others from around the country, with some international students. I think diversity is more apparent here than other small liberal arts colleges. Overall, the students are friendly. I'm a biology major and I have no complaints about my education. The facilities, equipment, and the quality of the professors are great. | Innovation: A, Surrounding City: B- | | | |

| | Quite Bright | For me what sets Drew apart from most schools is its location. Drew's campus is beautiful and serene. The town of Madison is a wealthy New York suburb, and although some may consider Madison dull, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and a movie theatre within a ten minute walk of the campus (and it also has a Whole Foods). If you like the mall, there is the Short Hills Mall (although you better be loaded because it caters to the very wealthy-even Manhattanites make the trip here) and the Livingston Mall which is more main stream. Both malls are ten minute drives from campus. The area has many headquarters and major centers of large international companies, especially in the pharmaceuticals, technology, and financial sectors. This is fantastic for networking and internships. New York City is a mere 30-40 minute drive. Buses leave from the campus hourly and trains as well (train station is a ten minute walk). NYC is great not just for fun but also for internships. As an Econ major major I plan to do Drew's Wall Street Semester (2 days week commuting into city to take classes on Wall Street and do an intership there). Drew also has a United Nations, Theatre, and Contemporary Art semesters, all with classes and interships in New York. Drew also has amazing off-campus programs around the world (i'm applying for the Brussels Semester for Econ majors as well). Besides location, I have made some great friends here. I rate my education here an A. | Education Quality: A, Campus Maintenance: B | | | |

| | Bright | There are a few things that I really like about Drew. First, and most important, I really like my class mates. They are overall bright, and very friendly, and it is easy to make friends. I also take advantage of Drew's location. I am from the west coast and I wanted a small school with easy access to a large city, and it only takes me 30 minutes by car to reach the bright lights of Manhattan. Drew has outstanding off-campus programs in Manhattan and around the world. I was concerned that many Drew students would go home for the weekends, but that has not been my experience at all. Many students remain on campus and my pals and I always have something to do, and we can take off to New York for the night if we want to. Parties on campus tend to be smaller parties (10-20 people) but large parties do occur. The faculty is excellent and easily accessible. The campus is beautiful. Madison is a wealthy, safe suburb with not much to do but there are plenty of shops and restaurants within a ten minute walk. My only gripe is the University Center, which is way outdated, but they are planning to build a new one in the next few years. The dorms range from average to plush (a new dorm is almost complete). Athletics have a large following at Drew but it does not consume the school like other colleges. The athletic facilities are top notch, so are Drew's art and music facilities. | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: B+ | | | |
