Question
The faculty itself is great.Quite BrightPolitical Science
The faculty itself is great.. the best I could have hoped for. And the students are overall very friendly, although a bit spoiled over all. But frankly, the social life blows. The administration is clueless, and completely unhelpful. Public Safety is more out to get the students rather the protect them. There seems to be a "ban on fun" around here, and the school is, in a word, lame. sports aren't a big deal, which is disapointing because the teams really are pretty good. but no one really cares about them, and so school spirit is non existant. unless you plan on going into political science, or you don't mind going to a nice prep school, then do not come to Drew.

Question
It is essential to visit a school whileSuper BrilliantPolitical Science
It is essential to visit a school while it is IN SESSION!! You don't get the same impression on a visit during the summer. Make sure you sit in on a class that interests you and try to speak with the professor. Their willingness to talk to you as a prospective is indicative of how they'll treat you as a student. My favorite thing about Drew is how accessible the faculty are--there are so many opportunities to get to know them as mentors. It's easy to think of profs to write recommendation letters. They're here because they want to teach.
