Drew is a place that will stump you in its nature at first, but once you get to know it, you love it. The campus is absolutely gorgeous. Class sizes are fantastic, and every single student gets individual attention from their professors. The academics here are truly great. Socially, there's something for everyone. You have your big parties, little parties and a group of people who simply don't like to party. Madison's cute but can get boring, but there's Morristown nearby which is fun and NYC is just a train ride away. It is very easy to get involved in extracurriculars because of the school size; I know freshman who already have leadership positions in clubs. I highly recommend Drew to anyone interested in going.

I like the atmosphere of the campus; it is surrounded by trees and is beautiful in the autumn. By biggest issues with Drew University so far are the people on the higher levels of the pyramids. The Business Office is soooo slow, they seriously take weeks to figure something out. I had to constantly nag them to no end just so they would approve something. I didn't keep calling they would of forgot. The University decided to tear down the University Center, and are currently rebuilding a brand new one. The problem: THEY ARE SPENDING OVER $10 MILLION TO REBUILD IT!!! I'm sorry, but that donation money could have been used for almost anything on campus. I.e. scholarships, new dorms, better food(seriously the food here is BAD). The best thing so far about Drew University are the students on campus. Is that reason alone to stay here and pay $56,000 for the same education as Penn State, or less at a community college...I don't think so. I will have to see how the rest of the year goes.

Overall, I would not recommend Drew University unless you want to be a Theatre major (the theatre program is very good and very accepting of new students, and everyone has the opportunity to act.)

The class sizes are fantastic, and the professors are typically very nice and helpful. The campus is beautiful. However, the school is very expensive and the money you pay does not seem to go toward the students. The classes aren't difficult at all. If you don't make friends in your residence hall or within the first week of school, you're screwed. People form close groups here and do not let anyone else in once they do. Most students here seem very unhappy. They complain almost all the time about how much it sucks to be at Drew. There's so much apathy here, and if you feel differently, people want you to go down with them. Madison is a cute town, but there is nothing to do here. The food is terrible. Like, seriously terrible. I feel like I'm drowning here. I'm transferring ASAP.
