If any one wanted a hold of your personal information like your transcripts they can easily obtain it with no problem ! All they would need to do is slide a 20 dollar bill to one of the ladies in the enrollment services office. A friend of mine who's had no contact with her father like EVER , yes I mean she has barely had any contact with her dad he doesn't pay her tuition and does NOTHING for her and he was able to get a hold of her transcripts just because he may have been intimate with one of the enrollment services employees ! My friend is super scared that he may be using her social security number for something illegal because he's into a lot of illegal activity ! This made me NOT feel safe here and I've just started applying to schools so I can get OUT of here ! Please please whatever you do just be careful because clearly this staff is very unprofessional and I won't even begin to talk about their attitudes , and how they are rude and ghetto ! We will leave that alone for now , but what they did to my friend was WRONG they put her personal information in the hands of a stranger ! a stranger being her dad who is a functioning addict that could sell her information just for a hit ! The pros of this school is that it is small and your classes can be found more easily than the Newark campus. Tutoring sessions are very helpful too ! Teachers are helpful and friendly ! I have never had a mean teacher here that is not willing to work with you. There are many activities that bring the student body together. However the Staff (buscar, guidance etc) are very rude! They feel as though what they are doing is more important than your time. I have waited a hour for a dean, who was not doing anything, just to ask one question. The professors and most faculty members were dedicated and professional. I consider myself fortunate to have gone to this college. The problem is with the administration. The dubious way they determine, and award scholarships. The back door shenanigans, denying myself (An American citizen), and awarding a qualified international student funds for a four -year college. I realize they are within their legal rights and nothing will change. However, it is the Essex County taxpayer that foots the bill.
