Okay. Here's the deal with Felician. The students here are extremely friendly, so making friends was not a big problem at all. The campus itself isn't ugly at all. The area around the castle (a historical landmark on campus) is actually nice, and even around kirby hall. Felician is really diverse, with alot of international students. The classwork depends on the professor which, like any other school, can be good or bad. All of my professors so far were really nice and really helpful. The Nursing program at Felician is the best in the area. The work is challenging and really gives you a nice hands-on experience. The surrounding area of Felician isn't too bad. Park Ave, which is a short walk from the Rutherford Campus, has plenty of restaurants and coffee places. I do, however, suggest that you bring your car. A little further (less than a 10min drive) is route 3, which has a ton of restaurants, a target, barnes and nobles, a movie theater and other similar things. Also off route 3 nearby are north new jersey towns, like nutley, which has a few places of interest. The party scene is non-existant.. the school is very serious about the dry campus rule. This may seem desirable, depending on the person.
Now the bad news about Felician. The school is somewhat money hungry and it doesn't see like you are really getting the bang for your buck. Also, it is a big commuter school and there isnt a huge amount of people living at the dorms, but if you like a small community school, Felician is perfect. It may leave you with something to be desired social-wise. Overall, felician is a school for people that are somewhat serious about their future goals and careers. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Useful Schoolwork: B-

| Quite Bright | I would not recommend Felician College to anyone. The bathrooms are nasty, they don't have good lab equipment, which they said they should be getting new ones, but have not. The faculty such as the register office gives you wrong information that can effect your major. No one seems to know anything, you ask a staff about something "I'm not sure" that's their reply. The charge you for a parking sticker and you can't hardly find parking when you need to. Then when you find parking that blocks one of the staff, you will get a $50 ticket. They are a money-hungry school, who (from what I can see)doesn't invest it in the school. The computer system are constantly down it's unbelievable. They cost more than some medical school, I want to know where the $23,000 is going. You sometimes have to drive back and forth between the Lodi and Rutherford campus. They don't even have a library in the Rutherford campus. This is my first and last year at this school. I am sorry I gave them money. It's suppose to be a religious school but they hypocrites. Oh get this they force you to take two religious classes through the years you attended, I cause to indoctrinate you .TRUST ME do not consider this school | Campus Aesthetics: A-, Education Quality: F | | | |

Freshman year of college, before entering is probably the scariest time in a student's life. I can remember wondering how mean professors would be, how I might not be able to keep up with my classes. Countless movies reassured me that there would be no help from professors. Since I was dorming, I would be having a roommate, which added some more fears. Someone who way not my family was going to be living with me. Funny thing is I should have never been that panicked. Felician College is a warm place that helps their students in all areas so that they do not slip through the cracks. The professors are helpful, and are willing to work one on one with you when you have a problem with the curriculu. The activities around campus made me feel very welcome, and I was able to make friends easily. The atmosphere is so caring here that I have never regretted my decision in coming. | Education Quality: A+, Campus Maintenance: C+
