It is my first year here at Kean University and I love it. The campus is pretty nice and has everything a good campus needs. Kean is so diverse and has all different kinds of people. Most people are down to earth, fun and smart. I only have one professor who I don't like but other than him all my Professors are great. Kean is a great school to start at because it offers so many different majors. Dispite what some people say on here Kean does have a good reputation thats getting better and better. Overall a great university.

I had a pretty positive experience. Kean is pretty helpful with diverse situations and most activities are open to all students. I really have no complaints because there is always going to be a professor or staff member who is not up to par. However, the great ones outnumber them. They are many options for class times as well, just be sure to register on time because the good ones fill up fast.

First, there are a few professors who are outstanding but as far as the rest of the faculty especially Financial Aid and the "advisors" I wish I had just gone to a different school. Going to Kean has been a deplorable experience. My original advisor lost my file not once but TWICE and recommended that I take classes that I later found out were not appropriate for my degree. If I had stayed in the Education program I would need at least another year to complete the coursework. Getting in to see an advisor if you work is nearly impossible. There are very few night classes available for working students. I have a family to support and can't just not work like my advisor suggested. This is a school for people who are having mommy and daddy foot the bill. One more class and I am FREE but have to go to another school now to get my teaching certification where night classes are offered.
