My experience at Middlesex County College has been wonderful. From the first day I set foot on campus, I fell in love with it. It's a very clean, inviting atmosphere. The faculty was extremely patient and helpful. It gives you the college experience without making you 'a number' and without being overwhelming. The work, however, is not all easy. Do yourself a favor and take more challenging courses, and I'm sure you'll get as much out of it as I did. I recently graduated, and I'm really going to miss it. My goal is to teach there one day.

I hope this helps. I know I can only give insight based on my experience alone, but it was not a 'waste' in any sense of the word. Just like any college or university, you will get what you put into it. Work hard, use the resources available, and develop relationships with great people. You won't be let down.

I will be short and concise... I dropped out of highschool in eleventh grade...I got my GED and I did my own thing for a couple of years. I realized that I needed to go back to school if I wanted to secure my future. I have debilitating ADHD and schooling never appealed to me in any way. I came to Middlesex to give my education another shot...

Middlesex really without a doubt inspired a desire within me to learn. My professors in general have been outstanding, valuing a general understanding and desire to learn a subject, rather than memorization of monotonous "facts" which demonstrate little more than one's inborn ability to regurgitate information long enough to pass an exam.

They have been kind, understanding, helpful and available without exception, surpassing my wildest expectations. Reinventing and shifting my paradigms about education, ultimately augmenting my own views regarding my ability to learn.

Highschool and other colleges I have attended asked students "how smart are you?"

But my professor Dr. Ramirez summed up Middlesex's positon on the matter perfectly by asking
"how are you smart?"

If you want to do well, are interested in being rewarded according to your effort...than I definitely recommend Middlesex.

If you want a school with small classes, whose professors know your name, care about you...and will push the limits to make sure you succeed... I definitely recommend Middlesex.

If your looking to make a ton of friends who you can party with...than Middlesex is not the place to be...the social life is bleak...most students live with their parents...and stick to their friends from highschool.

But what junior college does that not apply too?

If you want to succeed than Middlesex is definitely worth your time...

MCC is a good county college.. I heard its one of the best county colleges in the state.. Most of the students transfer to a four year university.. The most common school in which students transfer are Rutgers University and N.J.I.T In General, the Middlesex County College is RECOMMENDED !!!
