Rutgers-Camden is a good university with highly qualified faculty. The professors are very knowlegable but can be a bit uptight. Students here are very friendly and intelligent. The campus is generally very nice.
The school suffers however from the surrounding area. A social life is almost nonexistent. Most students are commuters. The curriculum does not allow for much freedom and summer classes are required for most students to graduate on time. RUC is great for the serious student who is looking for a solid undergraduate education at a low price. Their honors college provides many other academic opportunities for superior students. | Useful Schoolwork: A, Surrounding City: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | Rutgers-Camden is a fantastic school. It provides students with opportunities that other area colleges and universities do not have (we are the OFFICIAL state university). We have the best faculty in the state, and the administration is incredibly interactive with the students. If you are looking for something to do, don't just sit around and wait for it to come to you! You can take part in the Greek life, be in a student group (we have like 50 groups for everyone), or pay $1.15 and go to Philadelphia! By the way, the education gives Princeton a run for it's money, except it doesn't cost $40,000/yr. | Education Quality: A+, Campus Aesthetics: B | | | |

| Quite Bright | You come here to learn, not to socialize and enjoy the surroundings..it's not expensive and for a bachelor's degree it's worth the small amount of money. | Friendliness: A, Social Life: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | I had a most positive experience at Rutgers Univ. College of Arts and Sciences. Why? Because I chose to be proactive about my course selections, the profs who taught them and became an active learner by participating in class discussions. The quality of class instruction and lectures was outstanding. My profs hailed from some of the finest universities in the country-Yale, Duke, Univ of Chicago etc., were easily accessible, very supportive and truly dedicated to their disciplines. The psychology department was particularly strong. I highly recommended fieldwork assignments and internships as a means to narrow your field of vision for your future career choice. Do not be afraid to try upper level coursework outside of your major. I took a several political science courses, a religion course and lit course that have truly enriched my educational experience. | Preparedness: A+, Reputation: B+ | | |
