If I had to do it all over, I would have supported the merger with Rowan and just obtained my degree from Rowan. This school cares nothing about the students and simply is after the most money they can squeeze out of each and every student while offering no services. Homeless people wander the campus while security guards sit inside the buildings ignoring the situation, the parking is ridiculous, they have sold 5 times as many parking passes as spaces available, and at least half the faculty simply read power points and teach nothing. I can read power points on my own, I do not need to pay this mount of money to be read to instead of actually taught. I am looking at my options for transfer senior year, I have had my fill.

Decided to study at the library today, about an hour into studying a group of students came in and were speaking extremely loud. I attempted to ask the front desk for assistance. A rude woman told me that she is not a baby sitter and that if I wanted to study quietly that I would have to approach the students myself. After telling her I was uncomfortable doing so I was met with condescending comments that were abrasive and unnecessary. Thankfully I am transferring in December. Rutgers Camden is not an academically serious institution, this is made obvious by the type of student, staff, and faculty that I have encountered thus far.

The administration stinks at Rutgers. The dean, mailroom and support staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. I disliked attending this university. Try someplace else that you can afford.
