If you like driving in traffic, waiting in line for parking for 30 minutes, or living at home then this school is great for you. Unfortunately if your like the 95% of people who dont enjoy that its not a good school for you. There is a terrible social life if you live on campus. On the weekends you are in a ghost town. Theres only one night a week where there is anything to do as far as parties. Thats thursday nights. To be honest, those parties are terribly. I would not recommend coming to this university unless you are commuting and only care about academics. The sports a terrible, the social life is terrible, and academics are good. Bottom line. After investigating there business program intensely, I made up my mind that this is the place that will mold me into becoming a professional. I was a 100% right. At first it was a little annoying because I commute but once I got use to driving everyday into Newark it has been one of the best choices that I have made in my life. The comment comparing this school to Fordham is on the money. Its a great educational institution but a couple blocks away its sorrounded by thugs, drug addicts and very nasty people. A huge + is that theres alot of companies in the city of newark and its only a few minutes away from New york City. I recommend it for anyone who wants a great education and who is serious about it.
