 | Average | If your considering chemical engineering, expect the last two years of your college life (4 out of 4) to be pretty challenging. Thermodynamics, Process Analysis, and Process Control were probably the worst classes for me, personally. Most of the professors in the department are really nice and understanding. Stevens can be a good school if you dedicate yourself. Also, if you plan on having a social life, I would suggest joining greek life. Greek Life is very big at Stevens. It's a good way to meet people beyond people in your major and class. | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Social Life: C | | | |

| | Quite Bright | The quality of my education within the business and technology program was good overall. Some of the professors within the program are very helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in the subject matter they are teaching; however the majority of the professors are either ineffective, poor communicators, uninterested in teaching, not helpful, or a combination of multiple deficiencies. It is incredibly hard if not impossible to justify the $20,000+ USD per semester tuition rate. I certainly didn't perceive the value of my education at SIT to be worth the $160,000+ USD that I have spent through the course of four years. On a more positive note SIT seems to generally attract bright, friendly, accepting, and community oriented students. Some students fit the odd-ball, off-beat, awkward, or nerdy stereotype; however I don't particularly view this as a bad thing, more of an opportunity to experience different life philosophies/viewpoints. The students at SIT are generally good-natured, but as with any school you're bound to meet some douchebag sooner or later. To sum all of my observations up this school simply isn't worth the tuition in any way you cut it. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Education Quality: F | | | |
