The departments that I have worked with have been exceptionally well to me. The PoliSci and Communications departments are amazing with faculty and providing you with individual attention. However, the Nursing department I heard is simply the worst, and the Arts are still trying to get funded more. Social life is hard if you're not an athlete. I came simply because I wanted a small school and wanted to explore NYC with other students that are clueless to the area as well. Those out-of-state students have left because of the people that attend this school. Most students are negative. Residents from NJ go home a lot in the weekends. And it can get a bit ghetto when it comes to student body. I wish more kids who would come here would be as willing to explore and have fun as my intentions were. Overall, I am trying to make it the most I can. I mean, I do have NYC in my backyard. Every school has their issues. If you come here, make sure to be independent and expect to a very diverse student body. Athletes can be not as friendly as one would expect at times. I would think about coming here before making an impulse decision. Education Quality: A+, Social Life: D+ Have a Question? I didn't ever have to study and it wasn't challenging at all and I was not the smartest kid in high school. Unless your on a sports team, you'll have a hard time finding friends. On weekends there was nothing to do because everyone goes home. There are a lot of commuters. The school is EXTREMELY diverse with many international students. The only good thing is that they give a lot of scholarship money. Education Quality: A, Campus Aesthetics: F Have a Question? The Professor's in every department are scholars, and are incredibly versed in their respective fields. Small class sizes help to engage students in the material being studied and also allow for Prof. and students to discuss issues and ideas on a more personal level. At Saint Peter's one can acquire a great education, and one that will not only be great academically, but one that also allows for both personal and intellectual maturity. As an aside, Saint Peter's is very generous with aid and provides many of the attending students with scholarships. Education Quality: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: B+ Have a Question?
