There are almost no clubs no events weekends the place deserted I was horrified. Now I am at another long island college and the food and clubs and activities are amazing. I went to adelphi because they gave me a huge amt of money. I really should not have

Not so bright
The school is pretty and very safe. I live on campus and there is nothing to do on the weekends here no events and almost all the students leave. The dorms are very strict about having guests over too. I would not recomment the college to anyone who wanted to meet new people and have fun. Plus they have 2 small eating places that are open very limited times and no football or basketball teams. really boring place . Safe and pretty though

Quite Bright
The school features a Learning Disabilities program that is well run, and is an asset to the many students that require its services. There are many strong departments at this school, though other programs suffer from faculty infighting and substandard facilities. The university does feature many very skilled and intelligent professors who work in the top of their field, although they are not the majority. The school itself is best experienced as an on-campus student, not as a commuter.
