Quite Bright
I graduated from this college's Accounting program in 09 with over a 3.0 GPA and was the President of one of the campuses clubs. I am a motivated individual and I tried to be sure that I did the right thing while attending this school to successfully prepare myself for an Entry-Level opportunity upon graduating. Let me tell you frankly I am extremely disappointed and feel let down by this institution. I transferred into this college after attending St. John's University. I had an unfortunate occurrence in my life that required me to live closer to home. This college offered a night program that was convenient so I went with it.

It isn't all bad. 95% of the Professors were very informative, knowledgeable, kind, and really took the time to work with you if you wanted help and showed you wanted to learn. I stood out like a shining star because of this. The majority of the student body doesn't belong in college. The best way to describe the average student is the type of individual you would see as a grocery bagger. I bit the bullet and just rolled with the punches.

The job fairs that I attended were littered with pyramid schemes and commission based positions. Upon graduation I met with career services. The career services representative went on to explain to me that there are NO Entry-Level job leads in the field of Accounting. NONE. The only jobs that were available in this field were for those people that had 5 years of experience. He did however go on to explain to me that he could get me an interview right now for a customer service position with a company for 10 dollars an hour. My heart sunk and I knew right then and there that I made a huge mistake. I have been battling depression ever since.

The best available opportunities to me have been temp jobs. I beg of you. Please do not attend this college. I have now relocated to another state so that I can survive independently on menial pay. I wish I never went to school at all. I would have been better off working my way up somewhere. I was scammed by this for profit institution. My student loans will gather interest while in economic hardship and I have a long tough road ahead of me. I am embarrassed to say I am a graduate of this school. I am embarrassed to say that I spent thousands of dollars for a worthless piece of paper. I wish I could go back in time and transfer.

Briarcliffe I thought your motto was "Go Far". Not "Go Backwards". You caught this sucker Briarcliffe and you took him for all he was worth. Congratulations.

To anyone reading this who is a current student. Transfer now. To someone looking to attend. Run for the hills. You will be in a worse off position then you could possibly imagine. I beg of you. Take these words seriously and take the other reviews seriously. There are truth to these words.

If you have specific questions you may email me at
I would be glad to discuss the college with you in greater detail. The good with the bad and answer any questions you may have. Thank you for reading.
