I am a 2006 graduate of Briarcliffe College in Patchogue, with another degree received back in 1996. I have attended various campuses over the years, and I have to say the Patchogue Campus is beautiful, the staff is friendly and actually cares about the students and their success, and the faculty is largely industry professionals. I am still active within the Briarcliffe community, participating in alumni events. What I would like to say is with any college, you get out of it what you put in. I also attended SCCC, NYU, and St. John's University for my grad work. Nowhere did I receive the personal attention that I received at BC. Nowhere else did the professors sit with me and review materials that I could not understand. BC's tuition is right in line with other private schools in the area, so those who complain about the tuition are off the mark. I worked hard when I was there, graduated with a 3.83, and am successful today. Again, I would like to state, YOU GET OUT OF THE SCHOOL WHAT YOU PUT IN! Do the work, get involved, and partner with the staff if you have needs that are not being met--you will get help! All in all, I think it's a small cozy school with a great Business program...if they had an MBA, I'd come back!!!
