I am currently a student with Berkeley College. I have just completed my winter term and will continue with the spring term. After spring I am transfering out to a different College. I feel as if Berkeley College is an expensive community college, with the major that I am currently taking I feel that Berkeley will not allow me to grow within the Industry. Admissions is like a sales department, they rush to get you into the College and once you are accepted you are NOT given any information to help the acceptance process. I had to find out about financial aid, book, tuition on my own. Most of the information given to me was incorrect. Berkeley College is not for me.

This school was the worse experience of my life. Yes, they offer you tuition freeze BUT, if you have a family emergency and have to leave you tuition goes up about $600.00 for every quarter missed. The teachers and advisors do not return you calls and they are very hard to find since they never answer the phones. Then when you go to the office it is only by appointment. If you’re an evening student it’s even worse since you work all day your unable to do all the things day student can do on the campus. The guidance coordinators who help you make your schedule are just stupid. Three times my schedule was messed up. I was given the wrong classes she didn’t even double check to make sure I was able to take it. Once I was removed from a class without being told. I was supposed to take that class for my major and it wasn’t even full. And finally that was my push to leave the school even thought I lost most of my credits in the transfer it was worth leaving such mis-managed school behind me!!!!!
