Many of the instructors are not qualified. Many more don't even have Masters degrees. A few don't even have a 4 year degree. The best teachers seem to find other jobs, and many that are left seem disfunctional, drunk, or debased. I am paying too much money for this low quality, and if I had to do it over again, I would choose anywhere else.

The college isn't near anything of interest, besides perhaps Chittenango Falls. Also, a number of the faculty members are exceedingly arrogant--if you attend the college I'm sure there are a number of professors that come to mind. Some were in fact cruel and entirely too opinionated. My adviser for example, mind you...I've never had a class with him, said..."You have done nothing to impress me so far. I hope you're not as disappointing in the upcoming play as you are during advisement." Mind you, I'd only met the guy twice.

Most of the students are friendly, especially those involved in the theater.

The college is extremely overpriced for what you're getting too. I wouldn't be going there had it not been for free tuition, due to tuition exchange. The classes for the most part were uninteresting, unhelpful and not taught well. The buildings are very old and in need of updating--ie. the air-conditioning is an "open window." The college offers little for work study and for entertainment. And finally, the college is not commuter friendly in the least. Driving to Cazenovia in the winter is very difficult and most professors that I've had are not understanding of that. (I drive 45 minutes everyday to go to the college.) If someone wants to only take a night course, he or she has to the pay the 145 dollar activity fee, even though they won't be partaking in any activities.

It offers very few math or science courses--no physics or calculus. It requires students to take a large number of irrelevant courses--probably because there aren't enough relevant courses to the major--again...very few courses are taught. The way advisement is done is ridiculous and extremely outdated. The college needs to modernize and allow its students to sign up for classes online. Dropping courses is done in the same way--through an adviser.

Overall, Cazenovia was a disappointment. I am thankful for the theater that it has, but that is about it. The rest didn't meet my expectations for a college.

Okay, after my first year here at CAZ, i have to say the other reviews are quite inaccurate. The surrounding area is completely desolate, but if you're a social person there are wild parties to attend every night if you want.

The majority of the students (like 80%) are female equestrians. Which isn't bad you'll probably get to know/enjoy horses slightly if you've had little contact with them like me.

There is only about 800-1000 students on campus so unlike any other college you will know just about every single person in passing. This makes for rumors to spread like wildfire, but don't get involved in drama and its fine.

The experience is what you make it. Oh and they're complete assholes about alcohol here. I'm of legal drinking age and still racked up two drinking fines. Its not even a dry campus, just dont get caught drinking with minors.
