Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Do not attend this college.Quite BrightFine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc
Do not attend this college. It is a waste of time and money. They change rules when they feel like it, do not care about you, the fashion department is horrible, they constantly talk shit about the students, belittle them, make fun of them, offer np constructive criticism, barely teach. Most students transfer but if you do not do it in time, your credits will not transfer. I got into Cornell but caz credits do not transfer. The only decent thing about this school is the business department. Marketing class is amazing here but overall uou will regret coming here. The RAs break the rules and write people up for no reason. I got written up for DOING HOMEWORK once. Just don't come here.

Alright please please please consider coming here.Quite BrightArt & Design Department
Alright please please please consider coming here. I remember my senior year in high school and I would read negative reviews about Caz and think "oh, well they're probably not doing anything fun," or "everyone is different." No, this school sucks and all of the reviews are correct. There is nothing to do AT ALL, EVER. All of the parties get shut down. The RAs(some of them) are dicks as well as Res Life. This college seriously sucks, it's a big joke and definitely not worth the tuition. The food is gross. The campus is so small so obviously things spread, rumors, mono, etc. People like to cause drama for no reason and it's a shame. This isn't even a college, it's more of a boarding school honestly. You can't do shit without getting in trouble, and then they love to write people up. Everyone that goes here hates it. Well most people. If you're not a Design, Equine, or Criminal Justice student, I wouldn't even waste time or money. Honestly, the only thing keeping me here is that they don't offer my major at any other college.

Question
Alright, first things frist, the time i hadAverageOther
Alright, first things frist, the time i had at Cazenovia was a fantastic time and I made great friends and probably would have done it no other way. The town is really small and the only place at night to eat is the gas station. Food was terrible 99 percent of the time and if it was good and you had class when lunch started your out of luck. The campus security were on point. A little too much if i might add. They took their job very serious and you could tell. The diversity in the college is extremely lacking and in the town in non-existent. Guaranteed to see the same faces every single day and you will know everyone within the first couple of weeks. Academically it is a joke. There was many people with fantastic GPAs. Mine could have been a lot better but considering the work and effort i put in I was surprised it was even that high. The teachers are very lenient but that definitely does not speak for all of them. I got higher grades in the classes that the professor was actually fair and did not like you get away with stupid BS like not doing homework and not going to class. I was failing a class with a couple weeks left in the semester and ended up getting a B. If you like bud, dont go here. (enough said) If you do not have a car and are going to caz, get a car. Syracuse is alright and is a decent car ride away. You do meet some great people and should not run into any problems. The RA's. To begin I would like to say that most are d***heads and fake as hell. Snitches are everywhere so keep your business to yourself and your friends. "no contact" (restraining order given by the college) are so easy to get anyone could do it. On top of that you could have class with the person. You can build up a reputation real quick even if you were not exactly trying to. Things can go bad real quickly. The way the "write you up" is basically take away your alcohol and send you something in the mail. The dean is a reasonable man than will not be bias in away way. Other faculty members I cannot say the same for especially the vice president and head of security. Cops are clearly bored, you will get pulled over or even just stopped in the street. And when you get caught doing something one person can always take the fall. There pretty stupid when it comes to making up excuses to why you were in the room where alcohol was present. Other than all that Cazenovia is a nice small town not many problems ever occur if any at all. It is beautiful place during the warmer seasons and the winter can get harsh. I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot. Definitely not worth the money that some people pay but you can always make the most out of anything. If you are going to Cazenovia College have fun, be safe, and decide early if you want to stay or not.
