Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I hate this school.Quite BrightOther
I hate this school. I truly hate this place. The school only cares about attending to the needs of the future students and attracting more in. The people that "help" you get the paper work you need to get done TO GET FUNDING FOR YOUR EDUCATION play massive amounts of games with you. The dorms are HORRIBLE. The school itself is on a giant hill and people drives like idiots. The only good things about this school is the help you can get with classes and the professors.

Question
This school is a complete waste of time.Super BrilliantComputer Science
This school is a complete waste of time. They force you into classes claiming them to be a "New York State Requirement", only to find out they are telling a lie. The program related classes are fine, but I would never recommend anyone taking part in any English, Science, or math courses at the college. They are all assholes.

Question
Corning Community College is a pretty decent placeAverageBusiness - Management and Administration
Corning Community College is a pretty decent place to go to school although there are some negative aspects to it. One thing I really didn't like are that some teachers, especially in the liberal arts department, constantly pushing their political biases on classes. I normally wouldn't mind this too much but I have had 2 English classes (1010 and 1020) that didn't take time to go over proper writing or curriculum but were literally mostly the professor preaching about politics and how students should do more to protest and such. They also try and get you to go to rallies and stuff. However there are some really good business teachers who will take the time to make sure you understand material and are always trying to help. There isn't too much in the sports department compared to other schools but it is after all a community college. Environment wise, there is this weird push done by the school that constantly stresses political correctness and acceptance. I'm all for equality and all but the constant preaching to accept everyone and be super happy happy with everyone gets really annoying by the end of semesters. Overall not a bad school as long as you don't let these things bother you.
