 | | It has been awhile since I attended Cayuga Community College, but with that in mind, I must say that I received a great education during my one year there. I transferred to a great four year university I otherwise would not have gotten into from high school, and earned my masters and doctorate in clinical psychology. I found the academic calibre of many of the professors I had at CCC quite high. They were truly good teachers. Downfall was that it was an extension of high school for me, as I went to high school in Auburn. However, academically it gave me some good preparation for college. If you want to transfer to a four year school, I believe CCC is a good economic decision, and a good place to take introductory courses. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |

| | Average | | I had no luck at all with CCC. I went there for several years earning a low GPA, I was a dumb student. After transferring to another community college earning "A's" and "B's" I realized it wasn't me at all it was the college. The professors that I had contact with were not helpful at all, borderline useless. Forget about getting any answers from the staff, they bounce you from office to office and in the end, no answer. Instead of wasting your money on this college, stay home and search the internet you?ll learn a lot more than you would sitting in class. | Preparedness: F, Reputation: D | | |

| | Average | College has helped me some but I feel that it was just a piece of paper. The career center is useless. I had a degree and a 3.3 GPA and all they could offer me was a job as a cashier at a local grocery store. Even now, with additional schooling, I went back after getting laid off and it was the same response. I feel that I wasted every cent I paid there (still paying with student loans)and that I could have received better service/training/skills at another college. There was 3 professors there that was the tops that could work at any college but besides that it is all regret. | Starting Job: Coordinator, Preparedness: D+, Reputation: D+ | | |
