Just finished freshman year in the nursing program. I studied like crazy and did really well. I can't speak to social life because honestly, I spent the majority of my time on campus studying (in the gorgeous library) and when I wanted to relax I went home or to the Wellness Center. The campus is breathtaking - especially come springtime and don't underestimate that when you are overwhelmed with finals and term papers. I'm hoping to join a club or two next year. As of now, I plan on returning to CNR.

There are two good things I have to say about this college. Number one is the college is beautiful, and number two is that the professors try to help you succed in their classes. Now to the negatives of the school. Well first off the students who do stay on campus leave mostly every weekend because there is nothing to do(Yes even with Monroe and Iona right next to the college nightlife is still boring). Another negative of this school is tuition, it is just way to high. Also a a lot of people, including me, transfer after their first year so that says a lot right there.

Please completely disregard everything bad you have ever read about this school. It is GREAT.
The food is pretty good. Its a cafeteria, what do you expect?? But, there are always places to go in the city itself to eat.
Athletics are a little dull because of a lesser school spirit BUT its getting better each game probably because of the fact that the girls are getting better all the time.
The people are not wierd, just eccentric and amazing. There are people are are different and shy and thats why they do not always branch out. However, everyone is fun and usually if you get the gull to talk to them, you'll find yourself good friends without any problems. The campus is BEAUTIFUL. It is also perfectly placed that you can have the small home-like feel and the big city feel at the same time.
