I LOVE Cornell!! It wasn't my first choice when I was applying to colleges, and I definitely didn't think I'd end up here, but now, having completed my freshman year, I found that I love it. I made great, amazing friends, and I made Dean's List for the spring semester!! Cornell's campus is "gorges", and there's so much to do, even though it seems so isolated (Ithaca is 5 hours away from NYC). I think a car is a definite plus, but it's not necessary, because Ithaca has a great bussing system that takes you anywhere you need to go on campus and Ithaca, and they're free at night. CORNELL ROCKS!

Cornell gave me a unique opportunity not only to test myself against the brightest bio and engineering students in the country, but to find out what I was made of. The bio program isn't for the weak of will, I rarely had a weekend free of study, but for the serious academian or someone on a quest to prove something to themselves and learn a great deal in the process, I highly recommend it.
