Bright
When I was in high school and i told my teachers i am going to csi they were shocked! i was very bright in high school and people were expecting that i will end up in some ivy league school. i hesitated about coming here. many of my classmates went far away in the city either to dorm or to commute 1-2 hrs per day. But i can say i made the best decision ever. its a very cheap college. and faculty here is GREAT. there are some bad teachers and some good ones. psychology department is the BEST almost every professor in that department is amazing. now that i meet my other classmates from high schooli laugh at them, while they are comutting 1-2 hrs a day i wake up 1/2 an hour before class starts and still get to school on time. its a very convenient school for your undergraduate studies given the locatiion and price.

Quite Bright
Its a nice college, almost all the faculty are helpful, there are some bad teachers also but theres always a few in any school. There are also lots of extra circular activities, though somewhat sad most student's however dont apply to them much less know they exist and then complain that there is nothing to do on campus. Granted its not the best college, it does have faults but its pretty rated high among other CUNY schools.

Not so bright
College is what you make it and CSI is the perfect example of this. If you choose to just go home after classes then of course you are going to hate it! There is always something going on and the Student Life Office is always happy to help you. The faculty is very friendly and they never turn away a student who needs help. CSI truly is the hidden jewel of the CUNY system. The academics are rigorous and the are oppurtunities for more academically advanced students to join various honors programs. Students who are unhappy here should consider looking closer at the campus and become more involved.
