MEC is part if the cuny system, it's becoming more diverse then when I first started in 2010. Go to ratemyprofessor to choose the prof u want to take, that's the best advice. Thanks to edu track ur more aware of ur academic progress try to keep a 3.0 if u want to get in grad school, or into some academic programs in MEC. Nursing department is competitive to get into. The classes are fairly easy depending on what professors. Do not rely solely on edu track because u can be taking classes that u do not need, go talk to an advisor. Advisor are always available, do they help, that depends on u.. Get more than one advice when it comes to academics. Financial aid office staff has improved significantly. When it comes to events check ur Mec student email, people rarely due, information and job opppruntites are posted that most miss. As far as social life, morning and afternoon is high school, late evenings are the older crowd.
