The best way would be to break this up:AverageGeography and Geosciences
The best way would be to break this up:

Faculty - bright and interesting, but a bit into themselves. With the exception of my dept, other science professors seemed to enjoy torturing, under the guise of "challenging". There are way too many TA's who cannot speak English clearly.

Students - Are either: 1) only willing to hang out with their own ethnic/religious group or fellow high school alumni or 2) unmotivated, ignorant and lazy. Overall, the student body is very shallow and "fake friendly"

Transportation - buy a decal. It's not cheap, but you have the choice of digging deeper into your pockets or go around in circles for 30 minutes in the area.

Facilities - not good. Not enough computers available + selfish students who hog the stations to browse on facebook = bring your laptop to campus. Science labs outdated and filthy.Social Life - none. Even though I personally don't care about those things, if you're looking for booze, it won't happen here.

The good:AverageGeography and Geosciences
The good:
1.very international -- you name the nationality, you find them at Queens.
2.Manhattan is a hop away.
3.the students (most) are a responsible bunch and do their own work instead of copying work off their classmates.

4. decent library.
5. abundant Internet access for laptop users throughout campus.
The bad:
1. no social life whatsoever! after a class is done, everybody bolts out of the room, never to be seen again until next session. You will NOT make a new friend or meet your next bf/gf in class -- if you want to do that, it's best to join a club.

2. the food is nasty, and the in-campus eateries have failed inspections in the past, so be warned!
3. the security staff is very condescending.4. many of the students are very, very snooty. Not approachable at all. Pretty Boys and Princesses abound!

College is what you make it, there areBrightOther
College is what you make it, there are plenty of clubs, sports, and organizations to join and it is up to the individual to join. Academically, it is not a walk in the park. There are some good and bad professors. And theres talk of dorms by 09, so they are trying to make the college better in more then one way.
