THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS YOU WILL EVER SEE
Just couple of weeks into my first semester here but plenty observations are popping into my mind each and every day.I am absolutely in love with my school.
It is beautiful.
In amazing surrounding.
Ocean everywhere in (many buildings are half glassed) and out.
Sunsets are stunning here.
The best seat in class with an ocean view is PRICELESS!!!
Shuttle buss to the train station - I prize this yellow friend every day :0
All these being said - there is a fair share of drawbacks as well Toilets - disgusting, i can not express how i despise going there grrrr Lack of Bio study hall. Models are locked and students are pretty much left with youtube as a practicing "eyes-ears-on" (vs. hands on) resource whereas many available resources could be utilized for sake of our betterment :) Cafeterias - really poor quality, food very limited choices, no healthy options. I will have to bring my own food-load. Teachers - somehow intimidating, but it is probably interrelation so i will try to open myself more (the same applies to students) Many classes ahead, with their challenges, sunny and rainy days. Many ppl with better or worse attitude. But this is the cheapest and the most beautiful place just to hang out anyway. So everything else is already a winning point to me Good luck to all :) | Education Quality: A+, University Resource Use: C | | | |

| | Super Brilliant | I really liked the school. Everyone was friendly to me and my teachers were great. I liked the fact that the school had it's own beach. It relaxed you from everyday stress. What I didn't like was that the classes were not challenging enough. Some of the classes for my major (medical office administration) were very redundant. I think that they should replace the redundant classes with a couple of billing courses. | Friendliness: A+, Campus Maintenance: B | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | I was an on and off student here for a while, because I couldn't decide what I wanted to major in, so I'd take up one major, and switch to something else a few months later. Then I'd take some time off from school, do some work, and then come back again for a different major. What I've learned from all this is that KCC is not as bad as some people make it out to be. Sure it can be seen as a "13th grade", but by no means is it a waste of time, especially for the little price that they charge in comparison to a four year school. The school has your typical set of good and bad professors, students and faculty. When I say bad professors, I don't mean that they don't know their stuff. They do, but they just don't have a good and clear way of teaching things, so you might have to change classes and readjust schedules to meet your needs. The students are the regular highschool graduates who are noisy and rowdy, but some do actually come to learn, and get high GPA scores which will help them advance into higher education. The faculty is a hit or miss. They either help you, or they don't. It depends on the person that you're dealing with. The quality of education here is decent. I've taken some of the top science, math and English classes here, and the stuff that was taught there was very useful for the majors I was in. Again, the issue I've had was that some professors were not good at explaining things, so it would make even the simplest things difficult to understand. There is tutoring available, so that's a plus. I also made several good friends here, despite majority of the students having the stuck-up MTV teenie-bopper personality. This is to be expected though, because most people don't start to mature until after they've left school.Overall the school does a good job at preparing those who plan on continuing their education at a four year school and beyond. | Education Quality: B, Collaboration/Competitive: F | | | |
